[A] Girin Flower

“I warned you—the price of using me as a tool would be steep.” Crown Prince Yoo Jaeshin, destined never to become Emperor of Hwacheon, reunites with Mo Yeo-hwa, once the famed blacksmith of Sarakdo, now a fallen noblewoman living in exile. Yeo-hwa still holds the same fierce fire in her eyes. Jaeshin takes her in—not just as an ally in war, but as a blacksmith to forge weapons for his final journey toward death. “Your Highness… are you burning too?” Meanwhile, Yeo-hwa begins to suffer from searing pain as if her body were on fire. The only man who can share that unbearable heat is Jaeshin. Marked by the curse of the Girin Flower, Yeo-hwa is fated to die once the flower-shaped brand on her chest fully blooms. Jaeshin, caught in a deadly imperial scheme, has no future but death itself. Together, they embark on a journey toward what they believe is freedom through death— but the path leads them instead into a whirlwind of fate. And from that storm, something shifts: From hatred to love. From death to life.
