Sink In (Seol Yi-Young)

“Do you feel guilty thinking I’m Kang Jaehun? I actually like it more.” Chaeyoung had loved Jaehun quietly for a long time — the kind, confident man who was always warm to everyone. Even though she knew from the start there was no hope, when she heard the news of Jaehun’s marriage, her heart ached all over again. In the middle of that unbearable despair, she found herself drawn to Jaejun, Jaehun’s younger brother and her childhood friend. “What about me? I look just like my brother.” “Isn’t that good? You’re so obsessed with Jaehun’s face anyway.” Jaejun’s soft, coaxing voice — paired with a face so similar to Jaehun’s — felt as if he were tempting her on purpose. “You’re saying you’ll give yourself to me. That’s what you’re saying right now.” “…We’re friends, aren’t we.” At those words, Jaejun laughed faintly. As if to say, she was the only one who ever thought of them as “just friends.”
