Sip of Poison

A slave can never go against their master. Every slave knows that, so Baek-ha’s resigned herself to her fate as a lowly servant. She’s determined to keep her head low to survive, and it looks like she’ll be able to spend her days trapped in the all-too familiar, safe cycle of labor. That is, until the day her master brings an unexpected guest into the house. Baek-ha instantly knows that this man is dangerous—his eyes are full of an unfamiliar madness. There’s a poison in his gaze, and Baek-ha must do everything to make sure she doesn’t get addicted to it. --- It felt like my life would be shattered if I gave meaning to what he did. In a place filled with the strong smell of paralytic acid, the man laughed so much that he felt suffocated. Don't put your hand on it, don't even put it out there. The man did that to Baek-ha. "I will pick raspberries so you can eat them before the sun goes down.” The man's bitten lips throbbed slightly as if the energy of Paralyzed Mountain was disappearing. "Okay. These days, in this disgusting place, the joy of my day is the red fruit that you will bring with your hands.” “Okay, I’ll go.” As if she had done everything she had to do, she bowed her head, stepped back, and quickly left the room. The man burst into laughter as he watched her run away because he did not know what to say if she waited a little longer. “How beautiful and pretty.” I already have an appetite. --- **Original Novel:** R15 ([Volumes](https://series.naver.com/novel/detail.series?productNo=6322305), [Chapters](https://series.naver.com/novel/detail.series?productNo=6429768)), [R19](https://ridibooks.com/books/2298000014) **Original Webtoon:** [Aladin](https://www.aladin.co.kr/shop/wproduct.aspx?ItemId=289658952), [Anytoon](https://www.anytoon.co.kr/episode_page.html?ind=6067), [Bomtoon](https://www.bomtoon.com/comic/ep_list/poison), [BookCube](https://www.bookcube.com/toon/detail.asp?webtoon_num=210641), [Comico](https://www.comico.kr/comic/3638), [Lezhin](https://www.lezhin.com/ko/comic/dokju), [Mcomics](https://www.mcomics.co.kr/contents?idx=8615), [Mootoon](https://www.mootoon.co.kr/comic/moo_list.mg?tcode=a8dy), [MrBlue](https://www.mrblue.com/comic/C000050318), [Naver](https://series.naver.com/comic/detail.series?productNo=6734033), [Peanutoon](https://www.peanutoon.com/ko/comic/detail/6539), [RidiBooks](https://ridibooks.com/books/1515020663), [Toomics](https://www.toomics.com/uplmscg/episode/toon/6276), [Yes24](http://www.yes24.com/Product/Goods/104826490) **Official Translations:** * [English](https://www.lezhinus.com/en/comic/sip_poison) * [French / Français](https://www.delitoon.com/detail/daf_1000598) * [Japanese / 日本語](https://www.lezhin.jp/ja/comic/dokusyu)
