This Isn’t What I Signed Up For Working From Home

“…Team Leader. I-it just… won’t come out.” I barely squeezed out the words, muttering through little sobs. 「Pardon? What do you mean?」 “Secret Honey won’t come out of my body.” 「Ha!」 I bit my lip, wanting to die. It was my fault for jumping to do something like this, sure, but more than that, I felt myself resenting the person who made me do it. 「Whew. I’m sorry. I asked too much of you. First, please open your door. We need to meet to figure something out.」 “I still have it… in.” When I said it in a wavering voice, I heard a small “heh,” like a stifled laugh—I couldn’t tell if he was amused or sneering.
